DESCRIPTION:Lancers Kick Cancer\nThe Windsor Lancer soccer teams will be hosting a fundraising event for the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada on Friday\, October 13th in honour of University of Victoria Vikes soccer captain Mackenzie Rigg who passed away in March of 2022. \nIn honour of Mackenzie’s life\, the Riggs’ family and the Vikes raised funds to start a grant and Lisa Porter\, Director\, WE-SPARK Health Institute at the University of Windsor was the first recipient\, along with a lab at McMaster University. \nTo show support for Mackenzie and gratitude to his family\, the Lancers are raising funds for the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada to help keep his name alive and help fuel the next grant so another lab can continue to move the field forward. \nTo donate to the fundraiser\, please visit goLancers.ca/LancersKickCancer\, or come to the game to donate in person. \nThe Brain Tumour Foundation\, Dr. Lisa Porter\, and members of the WE-SPARK Health Institute will be on hand to answer questions\, accept donations\, and also present a cheque for current funds raised in Mackenzie’s honour. \nThe Lancer women will kick off at 6:00pm against Waterloo\, followed by the men at 8:00pm.

SUMMARY:St. Clair Women's Soccer OCAA Final Four Championship
DESCRIPTION:St. Clair Women’s Soccer Off to OCAA Final Four Championship\nSt. Clair will now travel to Toronto to the Ontario Soccer Centre where the Humber Hawks will be host college for the Championship. The event will take place on Friday\, October 27th and Saturday October 28th. The Saints will be taking on Seneca College in one semifinal while Humber will be facing Durham in the other. The winners will play for gold while the losers will fight for OCAA bronze. \nSt. Clair ended the season 2nd in the West Division record of 7 wins\, 1 loss and 2 ties and are ranked 5th in Ontario. Seneca were first in the east with a record of 9-1 and are ranked 1st in Ontario and in 2nd Canada.
