“We are excited about the partnership with the Tecumseh Corn Festival and to have the opportunity to support an important cause, such as the Alzheimer Society of Windsor & Essex County,” says Scott White, Tournament Director.

“The Alzheimer Society encourages an active healthy living lifestyle for anyone who is diagnosed with dementia and as a preventative measure to help prevent illnesses. The sport of disc golf is a perfect example of an activity that can be played at any age, at any skill level, and at very low cost,” states Peggy Winch, Manager of Fund Development & Community Engagement, ASWE. “I encourage our community to register for this event and come out to see how much fun the sport of disc golf is.”

Members of Windsor Essex Disc Golf will be available on both days offering help to players, as well as providing lessons and coaching tips.
