NHL NEWS NOV 14 – HOCKEY HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CELEBRATION
The Hockey Hall of Fame tonight inducts three players and one builder – and also honors two media members (Sam Rosen and Bob Verdi) – as part of the NHL class of 2016. Click the links below for more information on each inductee.

JETS, WILD AND CANUCKS PICK UP WINS IN EXTRA TIME
The Jets, Wild and Canucks required extra time to secure victories on Sunday:
- Patrik Laine scored a nifty goal in the second round of the shootout and Mark Scheifele notched the decisive marker as the Jets extended their point streak to four games (3-0-1).
- Matt Dumba scored his second career overtime goal (also March 17, 2015 at NSH) to become the third defensemen in Wild history to notch multiple overtime goals, joining Brent Burns (5) and Marco Scandella (2).
- Troy Stecher tied the game with his first career NHL goal (7 GP) with 1:40 remaining in regulation and Markus Granlund (1-1—2) scored in overtime to help the Canucks rally from third-period deficits of 3-1 and 4-3. Elias notes that Vancouver has won four games this season after trailing in the third period, tops in the NHL.

- The Canucks earned their first win vs. DAL since Feb. 21, 2013 (4-3 W), snapping a 10-game slide (0-7-3)
- Blackhawks defenseman Gustav Forsling scored his first NHL goal (14 GP)
- Stars forward Antoine Roussel (1-1—2) extended his career-high point streak to six games (3-5—8)
- Tyler Seguin (2-6—8), Daniel Sedin (3-2—5), Andrei Markov (2-5—7), Alex Galchenyuk (3-4—7) and Alexander Radulov (0-6—6) each extended point streaks to five games
- Blackhawks Marian Hossa (4-2—6) has scored in four consecutive games
- Avalanche forward Jarome Iginla skated in the 1,488th game of his NHL career, surpassing Wayne Gretzky (1,487) for 18th place on the all-time list
- Kings forward Dustin Brown (900) and Oilers forward Benoit Pouliot (500) each skated in milestone games
- The Canucks and Blackhawkshonored Dan Hamhuis and Andrew Shaw in their respective returns to Vancouver and Chicago
- Former Capitals star Peter Bondra is growing the game in the United Arab Emirates
- A linesman and a member of the TV crew chipped in to make the day of two young Wild fans in Ottawa
