As we are quickly approaching the back to school season, FL3X Fitness has pitched in to provide a backpack filled with school supplies to local girls and boys in need.

The Boys and Girls Club of America reached out to the “Not Just a Dad” (NJAD) group on Facebook looking for assistance with gathering backpacks and school supplies. That’s when Carlos Puckerin, Owner of FL3X Fitness jumped into action.

FL3X Fitness is hosting its first annual back pack drive during the month of August. They are giving away a free backpack filled with school supplies for every new personal training client that signs up and then doubling that number.

“FL3X is not just about Fitness,” says Puckerin. “We’re a community that loves giving back. When I was a young child I didn’t have much so a brand new back pack with school supplies would have meant a lot to me. It’s not much but it’s a little bit and every little bit helps.”
