• The Lions will play their first Monday night game since visiting Green Bay in Week 6 of the 2019 season at Lambeau Field.
• The Lions are 19-22-1 all-time in Monday games.
• Out of the last seven Monday Night games for Detroit, six of them have been on the road. The Lions are 3-3 in those contests.
• Currently, the Packers lead the Monday Night series between Green Bay and Detroit, 2-1-1.
• For the first time of his career, Lions RB Jamaal Williams enters Lambeau Field as a visitor against the Green Bay Packers. The Packers selected Williams in the fourth round (134th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft, and he quickly became a fan favorite with his playful personality and his play on the field.

• Goff set franchise records for the most completions and attempts in a player’s debut for Detroit, his yardage ranked second best and he tied for the second-most touchdown passes.
• Goff’s 38 completions also marked the most completions by a quarterback in his debut with a team in NFL history and the most in a single game in franchise history.

MNF HISTORY

On Sept. 28, 1964, the Lions hosted the Packers for a Monday Night game and the results laid the foundation for the modern Monday Night Football programming. In a game that was not broadcast to a national audience, the Lions drew a record, sellout crowd of 59,203 to Tiger Stadium. Following the major success of that game, then-Commissioner Pete Rozelle began a trial of playing Monday Night games, scheduling one on primetime on CBS in the 1966-67 seasons and two in the 1968-69 seasons. Beginning in 1970, Monday Night Football debuted on ABC as a regular broadcast and has become synonymous with the NFL ever since.
