The TIMEOUT Windsor Sport & Social Club is back!
TimeOut Sport & Social Club, formerly Rose City Sport & Social Club, has just opened Fall registration for
its recreational, adult-only sports leagues in Windsor Essex County.
Community recreation, and especially for-fun sports, are enjoying a huge comeback-from-COVID right
now. TimeOut Sports & Social Club (TimeOut SSC) is here for it and helping make it happen!
TimeOut SSC, Windsor Essex’s only, for-fun multi-sport league, is now inviting registrations for
individuals, small groups, full teams, and corporate teams to play Dodgeball, Volleyball, Basketball, Floor
Hockey and All-Sorts-of-Sports, a unique league that offers members the opportunity to play four or
more different sports as part of the league.
Started by entrepreneur Kyla Woodcock, who also operates the Forest City Sport & Social Club in
London, TimeOut SSC offers a unique non-competitive and all-gender sport experience for adults 19+, as
well as tournaments, and social events. While staying fit, making new friends and creating community
connections are great reasons to get involved, another important focus of TimeOut SSC, according to
Kyla, is just good fun.
“TimeOut is all about connecting through sport. Play a sport you love with friends, old and new, then
continue the fun off the court, over food and drinks at a local pub,” she says. “The game might last an
hour but the fun will last all evening.”
Kyla is a successful entrepreneur fueled by personal passion for recreational sport and community
development. She founded the Forest City Sport & Social Club in London almost 15 years ago, which
now has 28,000+ members. She has brought the sport & social club back to Windsor with the
encouragement of staff, family, friends, former members, and other local sport organizers who are
looking for more ways to meet cool people and have more fun in and around the city.
TimeOut SSC values community connections and is always interested in teaming up with other local
businesses or organizations to enhance the club experience, and overall quality of life, for our members.
“We’re keen to connect our members to each other, and to also connect with some great local
businesses or organizations, especially pubs and restaurants, that share our commitment to having
