Downtown Windsor and Windsor Spitfires join forces in game changing collaboration

The Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association (DWBIA) is electrifying the ice this season by announcing its official sponsorship of the Windsor Spitfire’s signature puck for 2023/2024.

In a power move, the DWBIA and the Windsor Spitfires – both champions of teamwork and community spirit – have come together in a dynamite partnership. The DWBIA, which represents the heart of Windsor’s thriving downtown pulse, demonstrates its unwavering support for both the sport of hockey and Windsor’s vibrant heartbeat through this sponsorship.

With a storied history of triumph and unity, the Spits stand tall as the beacon of talent development, impeccable sportsmanship, and pure, exhilarating entertainment. “With values that mirror the DWBIA’s pillars,” said DWBIA Chair Chris MacLeod, “this collaboration is more than fitting.”

As part of this alliance, the DWBIA’s brand will be featured on a collectible puck this season, fueling both organizations’ efforts to connect with fans and amplify community outreach with events and initiatives.
