In a lopsided clash between the Mississauga Steelheads and the Windsor Spitfires, the Steelheads secured a commanding 6-1 victory. The Sunday evening showdown showcased the Steelheads’ exceptional performance, led by star player Adam Zidlicky, who tallied four points with two goals and two assists. The game also highlighted the key contributions of Luke Misa, MacGregor Richmond, Porter Martone, and Jack Van Volsen. With Jack Ivankovic’s outstanding goaltending, stopping 30 shots, the Steelheads demonstrated their solid team effort.
The Mississauga Steelheads wasted no time in setting the pace of the game, taking the lead at 5:29 in the first period. Jakub Fibigr made a perfect setup for Luke Misa, who capitalized on the opportunity and scored the game’s opening goal, putting the Steelheads in the lead.

The third period kicked off with a rough start, but soon, at 11:37, Zidlicky passed the puck to Porter Martone, who was positioned on the left side of the net and slipped the puck past the goaltender, extending the Steelheads’ lead.
With just 20 seconds left in the period, Jack Van Volsen scored the final goal of the game, securing a win for the Mississauga Steelheads.
