The Windsor Clippers close out 2016 regular season this weekend with a pair of games.
The Clippers will host the Orangeville Northmen on Saturday night in a much anticipated show-down between the league’s stingiest defense against the league’s highest scoring offense. The Northmen have held their opponents to just 64 goals in 17 games, an average of less than 4 goals per game. On the opposite end of the scale the Clippers are averaging close to 15 goals for per game. Something has to give on Saturday night. It should be a thriller.
The Clippers will close out the schedule on Sunday afternoon in Hamilton. By the end of Monday night the Clippers will know who their first round playoff opponent will be.
In all likelihood the Clippers will open the series at home on Saturday June 25th.
