Fans Select Stamkos, Kadri, Zibanejad and Terry as 2022 NHL All-Star Last Men In
The National Hockey League announced that Tampa Bay Lightning center Steven Stamkos (Atlantic), Colorado Avalanche center Nazem Kadri (Central), New York Rangers center Mika Zibanejad (Metropolitan) and Anaheim Ducks right wing Troy Terry (Pacific) have won the final roster spots for the 2022 Honda NHL® All-Star Weekend as a result of voting in the 2022 NHL All-Star Last Men In.
However, Pittsburgh Penguins left wing Jake Guentzel – who finished second in the Metropolitan Division voting – will replace Zibanejad, who cannot attend due to personal reasons.
Fans worldwide were able to cast their votes via the NHL App from a group of 32 All-Star caliber players – one from each NHL team (determined by the League’s Hockey Operations Department). Fans were permitted to select as few as one player and a maximum of four players per ballot. The maximum number of ballots cast per 24-hour period for each fan was 10.
