BLUES SCORE AND SCORE OFTEN IN GAME 4, SERIES TIED 2-2

The Blues score and snapped a scoreless drought of 156:59 with six goals in Game 4 – including the first four tallies of the contest – to defeat the Sharks 6-3 and even the series 2-2.

The Blues earned their sixth win as visitors in the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs, extending their franchise record for road wins in a single postseason. St. Louis improved to 11-3-0 in their last 14 road games dating to March 19 (regular season and playoffs).

Kyle Brodziak (2-0—2) scored his first career shorthanded goal and game-winning goal in the postseason – all in a span of 4:02 during the second period – to record his first career multi-goal playoff game.

Jake Allen, who appeared in two games this postseason in relief of Brian Elliott (Game 6 of SR vs. DAL and Game 3 of CF at SJS), made 31 saves to win his first start of the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs and improve to 3-4 (2.05 GAA, .911 SV%) in 10 career playoff appearances.
