The St. Clair College men’s basketball team had a strong third quarter but it was not enough as they fell 94-76 to visiting Macomb College Monarchs Wednesday night.blank

At the Sportsplex in Windsor, the Saints fell  behind 50-38 at the half but rebounded and trailed by only four in the third period.

The Saints missed five straight free throws in the third of the exhibition game which made a big difference in this one.

St. Clair got 18 points from Charles Baskin, Gil Antencio from Panama City had 14 for the hosts, Anthony Linbabe added 12 and Will Lara-Caston had 10.

St. Clair, who is 4-5 in the OCAA standings, return to their regular schedule on Jan. 21 when they travel to Ancaster to take on Redeemer.
