Family Respite Services to Benefit from Spin4Kids Fitness Fundraiser for Second Year in a Row

Family Respite Services (FRS) has announced that they have partnered with GoodLife Kids Foundation for the second year in a row to provide recreational programming for children with disabilities in Windsor/Essex County. The large amount of funding from GoodLife Kids Foundation ensures that children with disabilities have access to participate in sport, recreation, and physical activity in our community through programs including Super Saturdays. Children will enjoy activities including swimming, dance and gym time.

These boys attend Super Saturdays Program where they can learn fundamental movement skills, have a very active Saturdays and enjoy physical activity to promote lifelong healthy living. Super Saturdays is in partnership with St. Clair College.

This funding is available in our community, thanks to fundraising efforts at the annual Spin4Kids fitness-fundraiser taking place Saturday, March 4 at GoodLife Fitness Windsor Dougall. FRS is inviting members of the community to join in and participate so that children with disabilities can engage in physical activity. To join the team visit online.

“We thank GoodLife Kids Foundation for their continued partnership since 2015. This funding ensures that children with disabilities have opportunities just like their peers. When children engage in physical activity they discover their abilities and strengths.” says Alexandria Fischer, Community Relations Coordinator at Family Respite Services.”
