LS DON MUHLBACH
By playing against the Panthers in Week 5, 14-year veteran LS Don Muhlbach took sole possession of THIRD place in Lions history with 201 career games played.

TE DARREN FELLS
TE Darren Fells hauled in two touchdown passes against the Panthers, setting a new career single-game high for receiving touchdowns (2) in a game. He scored on receptions of 4 and 20 yards. Both touchdowns were the first two since joining the Lions in 2017.

His 20-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter marked the second-longest touchdown grab of this career behind a 37-yard touchdown in Week 17 of the 2016 while with Arizona (at LA Rams, 1/1/17).

RB THEO RIDDICK
With 4 receptions against the Panthers, RB Theo Riddick surpassed Billy Sims (186, 1980-84) for sixth place on the Lions all-time list for receptions by running backs. Riddick now has 189 career receptions.

Riddick also recorded 45 receiving yards against the Panthers and passed RB Altie Taylor (1,523; 1969-75) for the eighth-most receiving yards by a Lions running back in team history.

S TAVON WILSON
S Tavon Wilson led the Lions with 10 total tackles (9 solo, 1 assisted), marking a career single-game high (10, vs. Denver 10/7/12 while with New England). It also marked second game of his career with 10+ tackles.

Among Wilson’s 10 tackles included a career-high 3 tackles for loss. Since TFLs were first tracked via NFL GSIS in 2008, Wilson’s 3 TFLs are the most by a Lions’ defensive back in a single game.

He also set a career single-game high with 9 solo tackles, surpassing his previous best of 8 registered at Minnesota (11/6/16).

DT AKEEM SPENCE
DT Akeem Spence recorded 2 total tackles, including a tackle for loss against Carolina (10/8/17), marking the 100th and 101st tackles of his career. He also registered his 10th career TFL.

DE ANTHONY ZETTEL
DE Anthony Zettel recorded 5 total tackles against Carolina (10/8), setting a new career single-game high (previous high: 4 at NYG, 9/18/17).

LB JARRAD DAVIS
Lions rookie LB Jarrad Davis registered 8 total tackles, 2 TFL and 1 pass defense against Carolina. Davis is the only Lions rookie since 2008 (first year NFL GSIS tracked TFLs) to record 8 total tackles, 1 TFL and 1 pass defense in a single game.

S DON CAREY
S Don Carey recorded 3 total (solo) special teams tackles against Carolina, which establishes the second-highest single-game total of his career.

Carey now has 61 special teams tackles as he became the fifth Lions player since 1994 to accumulate 60+ special teams tackles.
