WINDSOR CLIPPERS MAY 26 2019 RECAP – CLIPPERS SWEEP WEEKEND ROADIE
The Windsor Clippers took both ends of their weekend road trip to Welland and St. Catharines.
On Saturday night the Clippers played just well enough to edge the Welland Generals 8-7. The Clippers put in a much better effort on a Sunday afternoon with an 11-5 win over the St. Catharines Spartans. The wins improves the Clippers to 9-2-2 on the season.
Blain Wallace led pall Clippers scorers with 4 goals and 1 assist. Connor McManus and Darian Delisle chipped in with a pair of goals each while single goals were scored by Kaden Brennan, Zane Dalpe and Jackman Schooley.
Carson Hebner was solid in goal for the Clippers stopping 39 of 44 Spartans shots.
The next home game is Thursday night when the London Blue Devils pay a visit to Forest Glade arena. Game time is 8:00 pm.
