LATE-GAME HEROICS BY ALEX KILLORN POWER LIGHTNING OVER RED WINGS INTO SECOND ROUND

Alex Killorn scored the series-clinching goal with 1:43 remaining in regulation to help the defending Eastern Conference champion Lightning eliminate the Red Wings in the First Round for the second straight year (4-3 W in 2015).

The line of Alex Killorn, Tyler Johnson and Nikita Kucherov combined for 20 points in five games against the Red Wings, including 10 of the Lightning’s 12 goals in the series (as well as three game-winners).

Bishop registered his fourth career playoff shutout and third in a series-clinching win (also Game 7 of 2015 FR at DET and Game 7 of 2015 CF at NYR). The Lightning have clinched four of their last six series wins via a shutout dating to the 2011 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals at PIT.

Despite a 4-1 series loss, it was a very close series being within one goal for almost 90% of the entire series.

KANE NOTCHES DOUBLE-OVERTIME WINNER TO KEEP BLACKHAWKS ALIVE
The Blues overcame a 3-1 deficit in the third period, but Patrick Kane (1-1—2) scored a highlight-reel goal at 3:07 of double-overtime to help the defending Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks stave off elimination.

DUCKS EVEN SERIES WITH PREDATORS
Frederik Andersen made 30 saves and four different skaters found the back of the net as the Ducks evened their First Round series with the Predators after the dropping the first two games at home.
