Windsor Spitfire Michael DiPietro Named OHL Player of the Week

Goaltender Michael DiPietro is the “On the Run” Ontario Hockey League Player of the Week for the period ended Sunday, September 24th.

DiPietro led the Spitfires to a perfect 3-0 record during opening week, posting a gawdy 1.00 goals against average and a .966 save percentage, including a shutout.

In wins over Saginaw (Thursday), London (Friday) and Guelph (Sunday), DiPietro stopped 86 of 89 shots, allowing just three goals while blanking the Storm.
