Games will start at the SportsPlex in the afternoon on Friday and will be continuously played until the Saints complete their games Saturday evening against Sheridan College (Brampton) that tip 2:00pm (Women) and 4:00pm (Men).
The Highrise Basketball organization started in 2016 and this unique 24-hour fundraiser is a means to give support back to the Windsor/Essex community. Players from all over the area including school and club teams along with businesses, community organizations, and groups of friends will come together to compete against one another in modified versions of a basketball game in the spirit of fun, community, and charity. The 5th Annual event in February 2020 hosted over 750 people representing 75 teams featuring squads from the Town of Kingsville, the Ontario Provincial Police and Windsor Police Services, HUB, Century 21 Real Estate, PEPSICO, and Windsor Family Credit Union. The event has raised nearly $200,000 to date in support of local organizations in our community.
