Fans Send 12 NHL Stars to South Florida in 2023 NHL All-Star Game

NHL fans have voted 12 players to the 2023 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend, Feb. 3-4 in South Florida, through the 2023 NHL All-Star Fan Vote™ presented by Guaranteed Rate, the National Hockey League announced today.

Selected by fans for the trip to the midseason showcase in South Florida are the following two skaters and one goaltender per division:

Atlantic Division

  • F Auston Matthews, Toronto Maple Leafs
  • F David Pastrnak, Boston Bruins
  • G Andrei Vasilevskiy, Tampa Bay Lightning

Central Division

  • G Connor Hellebuyck, Winnipeg Jets
  • F Nathan MacKinnon, Colorado Avalanche
  • F Mikko Rantanen, Colorado Avalanche

Metropolitan Division

  • D Adam Fox, New York Rangers
  • F Artemi Panarin, New York Rangers
  • G Ilya Sorokin, New York Islanders

Pacific Division

  • F Leon Draisaitl, Edmonton Oilers
  • F Bo Horvat, Vancouver Canucks
  • G Stuart Skinner, Edmonton Oilers

The 2023 NHL® All-Star Fan Vote™ presented by Guaranteed Rate enabled fans to select two skaters and one goaltender for each of the four divisional All-Star Team rosters via online voting at NHL.com/vote and through a mobile interactive ballot on the NHL App from Jan. 5-17. The program also featured a Twitter vote for the first time, from Jan. 12-14. All Twitter votes were combined with online vote totals.

The players added by the 2023 NHL® All-Star Fan Vote™ presented by Guaranteed Rate reflect the top vote-getters in each division, excluding those players who presented bona fide reasons for non-participation and who were excused as a result.

In all, fans cast more than 26.5 million votes over 13 days in the 2023 NHL All-Star Fan Vote™ presented by Guaranteed Rate, more than double the votes generated in All-Star voting last year.

The 12 All-Stars named today join the 32 players previously selected to All-Star rosters by the NHL’s Hockey Operations Department.

Below are the completed rosters for each All-Star team, consisting of 11 players (nine skaters and two goaltenders) per squad:
