Free Cycling-Themed Day at the Chimczuk Museum!

Visit the Chimczuk Museum on Saturday, August 26, 2023, for a fun-filled day of cycling-related family-friendly activities. As the temporary exhibition Windsor: Cycling City comes to a close, Museum Windsor wants to have one final celebration in the form of an activity-filled free day at the Chimczuk Museum. The list of activities includes the following:

  • Guided tours of the Windsor: Cycling City exhibition will be led by Guest Curator Dr. Christopher Waters at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
  • Magician Elizabeth Prosser will be on hand from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. with magic tricks, balloon animals, and a unicycle.
  • Representatives from Windsor’s Bike Kitchen will be providing bike safety checks, helmet and bike fittings, basic mechanical assistance, free maps, and information about local cycling routes from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to ride or bring their bikes to the museum to take advantage of some of these services.
  • There will be special cycling-themed crafts and a scavenger hunt activity inside the Chimczuk Museum.
  • Best of all, there will be free admission to both the Chimczuk Museum and Art Windsor-Essex! In lieu of an admission fee, visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for donation.

Mark your calendars and make sure to stop by the Chimczuk Museum on Saturday, August 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Chimczuk Museum is located at 401 Riverside Drive West. Visit ONLINE to learn more about special events and current exhibitions.
