Gordie Howe Night, Red Wings vs Jets Nov 4 – PIX

All four of Gordie Howe’s children were in attendance for Gordie Howe Night on Friday, Nov. 4. Mark Howe, Hall of Fame defenseman and current Red Wings Director of Pro Scouting, Marty, Murray and Cathy Howe participated in the ceremonial puck drop prior to Friday’s game.

Throughout the game, videos were played to highlight the career and legacy of Mr. Hockey, who passed away in June at the age of 88.

The Red Wings gave the first 5,000 fans in attendance Gordie Howe Statue Replicas.

As for the game, the Jets, who tied the game three times, have overcome a deficit to earn at least a point four times this season. Winnipeg erased a three-goal deficit in the third period for a 5-3 win over the Red Wings on Gordie Howe Night.
