Max Homa, Tom Kim and Kevin Kisner commit to Rocket Mortgage Classic

The following PGA TOUR players have committed to play in the fifth-annual Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club:
Max Homa

  • World Number 6.
  • A six-time winner on the PGA TOUR, he has won twice this season (Fortinet Championship and Farmers Insurance Open).
  • He has eight top-10 finishes in 18 tournaments this season.
  • He has played the Rocket Mortgage Classic three times, with his best finish (T24) coming last year

Tom Kim

  • World Number 21.
  • 20 years old (turns 21 on June 21).
  • A rookie on the PGA TOUR last year, he already owns two TOUR victories – he won the Wyndham Championship last season and captured the Shriners Children’s Open this season.
  • He made his Rocket Mortgage Classic debut last year and finished seventh.

Kevin Kisner

  • World Number 68.
  • Four-time PGA TOUR winner.
  • He has played the Rocket Mortgage Classic every year since its debut in 2019. His best finishes were third in 2020 and T8 in 2021.

Homa, Kim and Kisner join World Number 12 Tony Finau, World Number 18 Collin Morikawa and World Number 46 Rickie Fowler as early player commitments for the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic.

The majority of the tournament’s 156-player field will be confirmed as final on Friday, June 23, with the likely addition of final player exemptions to complete the field just before the beginning of tournament
week. Four players will earn entry through on open qualifier on Monday, June 26.
