KIDS IN FLIGHT

IMPORTANT NOTICE – Due to poor weather and high winds forecasted for most of Saturday, we are moving the event to Sunday September 11. This ensures that guests will have the safest experience possible. It also ensures we can get as many people airborne on Sunday and enjoying a great day at Windsor Airport. Sunday’s event will be open from 9:30 to 4:30. Everyone is welcome.

Top Guns Kids in Flight is a FREE fun day for kids with cancer, their family, friends, caregivers and other kids with chronic diseases.  The goal of the event is to increase their quality of life and to provide a temporary reprieve from the experiences of living with life threatening illnesses.

The event is also a public day and airport open house.  The goal for this day is to educate the public about the impacts of paediatric cancers, to celebrate Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and to showcase the world of aviation at Windsor International Airport.

The day features military and civilian aircraft displays, exhibits, flypasts, aviation themed activities, kids fun zone, air-crafts, photo booth, karaoke, arcade and much more.  Guests also get to experience the thrill of flight with airplane and helicopter rides around the Windsor area.

Kids in Flight takes place at Windsor Airport, 2600 Airport Road, Windsor, ON N8V 1A1.
