The Kingsville Kings have clinched the top spot in the 3-team round-robin and advanced to the Russell Cup Finals.

The top spot  was a result of the Tottenham Steam’s loss on Monday to the Almaguin Spartans.

In addition to their spot in the finals, the Kings have also earned home ice advantage for the finals, which will begin on Friday, March 25th, 2016. The Kings opponent in the final will be the winner of a 1-game playoff between Tottenham and Almaguin, to be played on Thursday, March 24th, 2016.

Game one will be at Kingsville Arena Complex, at 8PM on Friday, March 25th, 2016. It will begin the final round on the Road to the Russell Cup. The winner of this best-of-7 series will be crowned 2016 GMHL Champions.
