OLYMPIC BRONZE MEDALIST KYLIE MASSE VIDEO VIEWED OVER 40K TIMES!
Kylie Masse, Athlete Amabasador for the 13th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m), visited her hometown over Thanksgiving weekend to be formally announced as event ambassador. While in Windsor, Kylie filmed a fun video with the Championship’s Communications team to promote ticket sales and the ice to pool transformation at the WFCU Centre.
In less than a week, the video has received over 40,000 views, and has been shared over 140 times. The video has also been shared on Twitter by Team Canada members … including Olympic Gold medalist Penny Oleksiak – who will be attending the event in December.
The one shot fun video explains the build of the competition pool. The competition will be held in a temporary pool at the WFCU Centre on the same ice pad where the Spits play.

The Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre will be used for training, and the new pool at the arena will serve as the warm-up pool before competition. Since the release of the video the number of countries expressing interest has increased to 176.
The expected athletes are the best in the world. The stars of Rio … right here in Windsor. With the interest in swimming on the heels of Team Canada’s success in Rio, tickets are in high demand. Windsor-Essex residents are encouraged to buy their tickets early.
