LaSalle Stompers Soccer Club Awarded the Ontario Soccer Association’s Highest Club Award, Club Excellence Gold

The LaSalle Stompers Soccer Club, has been awarded the Ontario Soccer Association’s Highest Club Award, Club Excellence Gold. The LaSalle Stompers are the first and only club in Windsor Essex County to receive this award.

Some very proud members of the LaSalle Stompers Soccer Club will be showing off their award to LaSalle Town Council at tomorrow (Tuesday April 12^th) night’s meeting.

The award recognizes effectively run soccer clubs offering safe, healthy and enjoyable environments for all involved.

Stompers’ Director Tasha Hummel says, “There have been many changes in the club; change is often a challenge for people but with it can come tremendous success.”

After being awarded the Silver in 2014, the Stompers added information, policies and procedures to help them qualify for the Gold.  In doing so they met the same standards as large clubs throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

The LaSalle Stompers Soccer Club is very proud to bring this prestigious award home to the Town of LaSalle and Essex County.
