Liam Greentree Named to 2024 CHL Top Prospect Game
The Canadian Hockey League (CHL) has announced the Team Red and Team White Rosters for the 2024 Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospect Game to be held in Moncton, New Brunswick on January 24th.
Greentree is a 2006 born forward from Oshawa, Ontario and will represent the Windsor Spitfires at the game. Greentree was selected by the Spitfires in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection draft in the second round, 34th overall.
In his rookie season, Greentree recorded 25 goals and 20 assists for 45 points in 61 games played. Liam also got to represent Canada on the world stage as he was invited to Canada’s U-18 team for the Hlinka Gretzky Cup. Greentree played in three games and recorded one assist.
In his sophomore season, Greentree has played in 28 games and leads the Spitfires in points. So far this season he sits just behind his total production during his rookie season. In the 28 games played, he has recorded 19 goals and 21 assists for 40 points. This sits in the top 5 of all NHL draft eligible players with a 1.43 Pts/G.
