The Detroit Lions defense allowed just 57 total yards and 0 points in the second half against the San Francisco 49ers as the team claimed a 32-17 win. The Lions held the 49ers to -1 rushing yard and 58 passing yards. It was the lowest yards allowed by the Lions in the second half of a game since the Lions limited the Minnesota Vikings to 57 yards December 10, 2006.
RB THEO RIDDICK
RB Theo Riddick led the Lions with 7 catches for 63 yards in Detroit’s 32-17 win over San Francisco. Now with 668 receiving yards in 2015, Riddick set a new franchise record for the most receiving yards by a running back in team history. He surpassed the previous record set by FB James Jones (662) in 1984. He set the record on his seventh catch of the game, a 7-yard gain with 3:19 left to play.
Riddick now has 76 receptions on the seasons. He became the second Lions running back to tally 70+ receptions in a season, joining Jones, who owns the team single-season record for running backs with 77 in 1984. This was Riddick’s fifth career game with 7+ receptions.
QB MATTHEW STAFFORD
QB Matthew Stafford completed 29-of-37 passes (78.4 pct) for 301 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Lions’ 32-17 win over San Francisco.
With 301 yards vs. the 49ers, Stafford recorded his 30th career 300-yard game and became the fifth quarterback in NFL history to register 30+ 300-yard games in a player’s first seven seasons. He is now tied with QB Peyton Manning, QB Kurt Warner and QB Matt Ryan for the second-most 300-yard games in a player’s first 7 seasons. Hall of Fame QB Dan Marino holds the NFL record with 37.
Combined with last week’s performance at New Orleans, Stafford has completed 51-of-62 passes (82.3 pct) for 555 yards with 5 touchdowns and 0 interceptions over the past two games. His 2-game passer rating is 130.9, which is the best passer rating over two games (min. 25 att/g) by a Lions quarterback since QB Dave Krieg tallied a rating of 131.4 over a two-game span in 1994. That season, Kreig completed 38 of 55 passes for 547 yards with 5 touchdowns against Buffalo (11/24/94) and Green Bay (12/4/94).

WR T.J. JONES
WR T.J. Jones caught his first career touchdown in the second quarter against the San Francisco 49ers on a 29-yard reception. The touchdown catch also tied a career long reception for Jones.

RB AMEER ABDULLAH
With 117 all-purpose yards in the Lions’ 32-17 win over San Francisco, rookie RB Ameer Abdullah became the third Lions rookie to reach 1,700+ all-purpose yards. With 1,742 yards, Abdullah has gained 729 yards from scrimmage and 1,013 yards on kick returns.
Through 15 games, Abdullah has totaled a kickoff return average of 30.7 (33 returns for 1,013 yds). With one game to play, he currently has the highest single-season kickoff return average by a Lions player in team history, surpassing the 28.4 average set by RB Mel Gray in 1994.
RB JOIQUE BELL
RB Joique Bell scored on a 1-yard run in the second quarter to give the Lions a 17-14 lead. The touchdown was Bell’s fourth of the season, and he now has at least 4 rushing touchdowns in each of the past three seasons. He became the first Lions player with 4+ rushing touchdowns in three consecutive seasons since RB Kevin Jones from 2004-07.
K MATT PRATER
K Matt Prater connected on 4-of-4 field goal attempts (36, 38, 37 and 34 yards) in the Lions’ 32-17 win over the 49ers. On the season, he is 21-of-22 for a 95.5 field goal percentage. With one game to play, Prater can join K Jason Hanson (95.7 in 2003 and 95.5 in 2008) and Eddie Murray (95.2 in 1988 and 95.2 in 1989) as the only kickers to record a 95.0+ field goal percentage in a season with at least 20 attempts.
Prater connected on 4+ field goals in a game for the 6th time in his career and the first since joining the Lions in 2014. This was his 24th career game with 3+ field goals.
