LIONS SIGN FOUR UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENTS

LIONS SIGN FREE AGENTS OL ODAY ABOUSHI AND S ANDREW ADAMS
The Detroit Lions have signed unrestricted free agent OL Oday Aboushi and free agent S Andrew Adams. Additional contract terms were not disclosed.
Aboushi comes to Detroit after spending the 2018 season with the Arizona Cardinals and playing in eight games (six starts) for the club. Entering his sixth NFL season, his career includes previous stints with the Seattle Seahawks (2017), Houston Texans (2015-16) and the New York Jets (2014).
Aboushi was originally drafted by the Jets in the fifth round (141st overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Virginia. He has played in 42 career games with 32 starts.
Adams comes to Detroit after spending the 2018 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, playing in 13 games (four starts) and totaling 36 tackles and a career-high four interceptions.
Adams originally entered the NFL with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Connecticut in 2016. He played in two seasons (2016-17) for the Giants, producing 73 tackles and one interception.
The Detroit Lions have signed the following unrestricted free agents: CB Justin Coleman, DE Trey Flowers and TE Jesse James.
CB JUSTIN COLEMAN
Coleman signs with the Lions following two seasons (2017-18) with the Seattle Seahawks where he played in 32 games (10 starts) and recorded 78 tackles (58 solo), three interceptions, two interceptions returned for touchdowns, 19 pass defenses and 1.5 sacks during that span. Prior to Seattle, he spent two seasons with the New England Patriots (2015-16) and played in 20 games (three starts) for the club.
Entering his fifth NFL season, Coleman has appeared in 52 career games (13 starts) and recorded 107 tackles (83 solo), 27 pass defenses, three interceptions one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries. He originally entered the NFL in 2015 with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Tennessee.
DE TREY FLOWERS
Flowers joins the Lions after spending the first four seasons (2015-18) of his career as a member of the New England Patriots. During his stint with New England, he appeared in 46 games (37 starts) and helped the Patriots win two Super Bowl Championships during that span (LI, LIII).
Through four NFL seasons, Flowers’ career totals include 164 total tackles (100 solo), 21.0 sacks, 25 tackles-for-loss, five forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. He originally entered the NFL after being selected by the Patriots in the fourth round (101st overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft out of Arkansas.
TE JESSE JAMES
Entering his fifth NFL season, James comes to Detroit after spending the first four seasons (2015-18) of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He finished the 2018 season with 30 receptions for 423 yards and two touchdowns.
James’ career totals include 120 receptions for 1,189 receiving yards and nine touchdowns in 56 career games (36 starts). He entered the NFL after being selected by the Steelers in the fifth round (160th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft out of Penn State.
