Local Youth to Lead Training for Windsor Express Athletes

Border City Boxing Club’s Children’s Class set to welcome members from The Windsor Express at Border City Boxing club. The event takes place Tuesday March 14, 2017 at 5:30pm at Border City Boxing Club 1072 Drouillard Road.

The kids from Border City Boxing (ages 6-11) will be showcasing and teaching their skills, techniques and talents to members of Windsor’s professional basketball team.

Border City Boxing Club is welcoming all kids ages 6-11 to join the team and participate at this great event. The event is free for everyone! Border City Boxing club is expanding its kids program and this is a great way to kick it off! “Boxing inspires and empowers youth” shares club director Josh Canty. “Our kids are excited to show these basketball giants what they can do!”

The Windsor Express are part of the National Basketball League of Canada. National Basketball League of Canada, founded in 2011, is Canada’s only professional basketball league. There are currently ten teams, in two divisions. NBL Canada is committed to being one of the leading professional basketball leagues in the world. The NBL provides Canadians, international athletes, coaches and officials the opportunity to participate in the game they love at the professional level. The NBL is dedicated to raising awareness of the sport of basketball throughout Canada, by providing fans with an exciting and entertaining experience. NBL Canada is headquartered in London, Ontario. The Windsor Express are the 2014 & 2015 National Basketball League of Canada champions.
