Back-to-back strong performances by rookie goalies Michael DiPietro and Mario Culina have earned the duo a share of our Motorburger Player of the Week.

Motorburger Player of the Week is DiPietro, 16, made 10 saves in a 4-1 win over the Oshawa Generals on Thursday, good for a .909 save percentage. His 2.21 goals against average is second in the OHL.

Culina, 18, was solid on Sunday afternoon in Saginaw, making 26 saves (.963 save percentage) in a 2-0 loss to the Spirit.

Mikey and Mario will be recognized when the Spitfires host the Flint Firebirds on Thursday, January 21th, at the WFCU Centre and will each receive a $25 Motorburger gift card.
