NHL NEWS NOV 9 – SHEARY LEADS PENGUINS IN FIRST MCDAVID-CROSBY MATCHUP
Oilers captain Connor McDavid registered three assists in his first matchup against Sidney Crosby, but Penguins forward Conor Sheary scored twice – including the game-winning goal with 1:42 remaining in regulation – to lift Pittsburgh to victory.
The Penguins stretched their overall point streak to seven games (6-0-1) and improved to 6-0-1 on home ice this season.
Pittsburgh also pushed its point streak against the Oilers to 12 games dating to Dec. 5, 2007 (9-0-3).
