NHL NEWS OCT 30 – CANADIENS EXTEND SEASON-OPENING POINT STREAK TO NINE GAMES
Shea Weber scored the game-winning goal at 7:24 of the third period to help the Canadiens extend their season-opening point streak to nine games (8-0-1), including seven straight wins. Canadiens goaltender Carey Price (37 SV) improved to 5-0-0 this season (1.40 GAA, .954 SV%)
Weber has collected 4-6—10 in his first nine games with the Canadiens and leads the NHL with three game-winning goals.
