No Fireworks for the Green Giants In Adrian Michigan
The St. Clair Green Giants dropped their 6th straight game and have fallen to 2nd place in the Northern Division after a 10-6 loss to the Irish Hills Leprechauns.
On a night where the Green Giants bats woke up, it was their pitching that let them down.
After St. Clair jumped out to an early 5 run lead, Irish Hills clawed their way back to take an 8-5 lead in the 5th inning.
They continued to pour it on scoring another 2 runs in the 8th to earn the 10-6 victory.
Standout performances for the Green Giants came courtesy of Jesse Gonzales who went 2-3 with a double, run and 3 RBI and Jalen Thomas who went 2-3 with a walk, 2 runs and an RBI.
The Green Giants are in action again Wednesday night as they look to salvage a split with the Leprechauns.
First pitch from Siena Heights University is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
