Gangneung, South Korea – Canada suffered its first loss at the 2017 IPC World Para Hockey Championship, dropping a 2-1 decision to the United States.
- Tyler McGregor (Forest, Ont.) found the back of the net for the red-and-white, assisted by Adam Dixon (Midland, Ont.).
- Dominic Larocque (Quebec City, Que.) made six saves; Canada outshot the U.S. 12-8.
