LUNDQVIST SHINES IN RETURN, HELPS RANGERS EVEN SERIES

Henrik Lundqvist, who missed the final two periods of Game 1 due to injury, made 29 saves in his return to the net to help the Rangers even their series with the Penguins.

Lundqvist earned his 55th career postseason win – tops among active goaltenders – to move past Terry Sawchuk (54) and into sole possession of 15th place in NHL history. He also made his 112th consecutive playoff start.

Down 1-0 midway through the second period, the Rangers scored four consecutive goals – including two in 18 seconds – to take a lead they would not relinquish.
