However, their last match was a disappointing 5-3 loss to Owen Sound on October 28th.

Windsor Spitfires, on the other hand, stand 20th in the league with a 3-8-1-0 record. Their last game ended in a heartbreaking 7-6 overtime defeat against Niagara, despite leading by two goals with just seven minutes remaining in the game.

One player who has been instrumental in the Rangers’ success this season is defenseman Hunter Brzustewicz. Brzustewicz, who has not missed recording a point in any October game, also made it to the CHL Team of the Month.

Carson Rehkopf, the OHL Player of the Month for October, leads the league with 14 goals. Despite breaking his eight-game point streak against Owen Sound, Rehkopf remains second in the league for points with 23.

Rookie Tanner Lam has also made a significant impact, with one goal and three assists in the last three games and a total of nine points in his first 13 OHL games.

Leading the Spitfires’ charge is forward Liam Greentree, with eight goals and nine assists. He has been in a rich vein of form, scoring seven points in the last four games.

Veteran Oliver Peer is another crucial player for Spitfires, having scored 14 points so far, and is currently on a four-game point streak.

The Spitfires recently acquired defenseman Connor Toms from the Soo Greyhounds in exchange for their 12th-round selection in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection. Toms, who collected three assists in his first 12 games of the season with the Soo, will be available to play for Windsor on tonight.
