Detroit Red Wings top the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-3 on Saturday in their final pre-season game.

The Detroit Red Wings have assigned right wing Anthony Mantha to the American Hockey League’s Grand Rapids Griffins. Additionally, the Red Wings placed defenseman Niklas Kronwall on injured reserve.  The Wings have recalled goaltender Edward Pasquale from the American Hockey League’s Grand Rapids Griffins and assigned center Ben Street to the Griffins.

The Wings will travel to Florida in preparation for Thursday’s season opener against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
