The Detroit Red Wings welcomed the Edmonton Oilers and Conner McDavid to Joe Louis Arena, Sunday November 6, 2016.

Red Wings forward Justin Abdelkader (1-0—1) opened the scoring on Sunday evening at Joe Louis Arena, the site where he recently proposed to his girlfriend.
