This Weekend is the Miracle League 100 Innings of Baseball!

Myles Jeun throws the first pitch every year to commence the 100 Innings of baseball! Myles is in the RMBA House League program and attends the Family Respite Services Saturday recreation program. Myles family relies on respite, so that Myles has opportunities just like his peers.

Riverside Minor Baseball Association will host the 6th Annual 100 Innings of Baseball game with proceeds benefiting Family Respite Services, Windsor Essex. The weekend is open to the community for FREE Family Fun!  RMBA House league and Travel teams will play baseball Friday night and all day Saturday.

“We look forward to hosting this event again for Family Respite Services because they provide important services to children in our community”, said Cindy Nantais, Myles mom and Riverside Baseball 100 Inning Game Organizer.

“The 100 inning game is a fantastic opportunity for the community to rally for a great cause.  I tip my hat to Riverside for choosing Family Respite as the benefactor of the event.” – Bob Bellacicco, CTV Sports Anchor

Alexandria Fischer (Community Relations Coordinator at Family Respite Services) explains, “Family Respite Services relies on partnerships in our community, so that we can continue to offer programs so that children with disabilities have the same opportunities as their peers. We live in such a supportive community, the pledges that are collected from the baseball players are invaluable for families caring for children with disabilities. All proceeds will ensure that children with disabilities can attend summer day camp, just like everyone else. You can help create memories for children this summer by getting involved!”

The event takes place on Saturday, June 24th from 9am-10pm at the Riverside Baseball Park, 6865 Ontario Street, Windsor. The event is free for families and children. Baseball players will collect pledges to play. Pledges can be collected on-line.
