Duncan Resigns from St. Clair Men’s Baseball
The St. Clair College Athletics and Recreation Department is announcing that Roberto Duncan has resigned for personal reasons from his position as the Varsity Men’s Baseball Head Coach. Effective immediately Associate Head Coach Tristan Bouchat will be stepping into the role on an interim basis. A formal hiring process to identify and name a permanent Head Coach will be conducted following the 2025 season.
Duncan spent the last four seasons as the St. Clair Head Coach and Manager after three years as an Assistant on the staff which followed his three years on the diamond as a player. As Head Coach he led the Saints to four consecutive OCAA Championships compiling an 80-10-1 overall record (.889 Win %) including three regular season pennants with a 62-6 record (.912 Win %). Duncan was recognized individually with the 2023 OCAA Coach of the Year Award and shared the 2023-24 St. Clair College Inter-Collegiate Coach of the Year Award.
Over the past four seasons Bouchat has been the Associate Head Coach and Outfielders Coach for St. Clair following three years as an Assistant on the staff. Prior to that he played 68 games over three seasons (2013, 2015-16) for St. Clair helping the Saints to three OCAA Gold Medals and the 2016 National Silver Medal along with the 2013 OUA/OCAA Championship.
Bouchat is a graduate of St. Clair’s Sport and Recreation Management program before earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Davenport University (Grand Rapids, MI).
