Saints Indoor Soccer Qualify for Championships

St. Clair Women’s Indoor Soccer Headed to Provincial Championship

The St. Clair women’s varsity indoor soccer team travelled to Vaughan to take part in the OCAA Regionals on Tuesday, February 25 at the Ontario Soccer Centre.

The Saints came away with a 3-0 record on the day and finished first in their pool.

In their first match, St. Clair took down Lakehead University Orillia 6-0.

The Saints defeated Durham College in their second game by a score of 2-0.

In their final game of the day, St. Clair handled University of Laurier Brantford easily by a score of 6-0.

With the first place pool finish the women have qualified for the OCAA Final 8 Championship March 6-7 at the Ontario Soccer Centre.

St. Clair Men’s Indoor Soccer Qualify for Championship

The St. Clair men’s varsity indoor soccer team travelled to Vaughan to take part in the OCAA Regionals on Tuesday, February 25 at the Ontario Soccer Centre.

The Saints came away with a 2-1 record on the day and finished second in their pool.

In their first match, St. Clair took down the University of Laurier Brantford 5-0.

The Saints defeated Lakehead University Orillia in their second game by a score of 2-1 to lock up a Championship berth.

In their final game of the day, with a berth in the Championship cliched, the Saints struggled losing to the George Brown Huskies 5-1.

With the second place pool finish the men have qualified for the OCAA Final 8 Championship March 6-7 at the Ontario Soccer Centre.
