St. Clair Saints Soccer Men Ranked 3rd in Ontario and 10th in Canada
The St. Clair College men’s soccer team will wrap up their OCAA regular season schedule on Wednesday at 4:30 pm against Fanshawe College at the Main Campus Field in a match that has huge implications for both teams.
The two teams are tied for first place in the OCAA West Division with identical 7-1-1 records. The first place team earns a bye to the OCAA Championship while the 2nd place team will have to play a playoff match on the road to make it to provincials.
The Falcons are ranked 4th in Ontario and 12th in Canada. In their only previous match a couple of weeks ago the teams played to a 3-3 draw in London. Both teams have scored 24 goals in 9 games while St. Clair has allowed 7 goals compared to 9 for Fanshawe.
