The St. Clair College Men’s Volleyball team hosted a pair of OUA teams the past two days at the Sportsplex in a Winter Break Exhibition Tournament

Monday January 2 vs University of Windsor

The St. Clair College Men’s Volleyball team defeated the University of Windsor Lancers 3-2 in Winter Break exhibition play at the Sportsplex on Monday afternoon

After narrowly losing the first 2 sets 25-27 and 23-25 the Saints bounced back to take the next 3 sets 25-19, 25-22 and 15-11 in a very exciting match.

Tuesday, January 3 vs University of Toronto

The St. Clair Saints Men’s Volleyball team lost a nailbiter exhibition match on Tuesday afternoon at the Sportsplex to the University of Toronto Varsity Blues.

After taking the first set 25-22 the Saints lost the second set 25-22. St. Clair then took the third set 25-18 to go up 2-1. However the Varsity Blues responded winning the fourth set 25-21 to force the match to a fifth and deciding set. In a back and forth set the Blues ended up winning 15-12 to win the match.

The Saints are next in action on Friday when they travel to Welland to take part in the Niagara College Invitation
