Veteran adventure racers Andrew Pula and Rob Pula of Team Kinetic Konnection, who have completed more than 50 adventure races across Ontario, will again host an adventure racing clinic.
They plan to help those preparing to participate in the SCAR – South Coast Adventure Race which will take place June 18, 2016.
The brothers will again design the SCAR’s race course, which last year received rave reviews from Out There magazine, Canada’s premier adventure racing publication.
“The orienteering discipline of Adventure Racing always seems to raise the most questions, so we’ll spend time focussing on that element,” said Rob Pula, Team Captain and President of Kinetic Konnection in Windsor. “We’ll also talk about the logistics of race day, team dynamics and training, and open it up for questions and answers.” Participants from past seminars have reported a greater confidence going into the race following these events.
The Adventure Racing Clinic takes place on Thursday, March 24 from 6pm – 8pm in Essex. Complete details on our events page HERE.
This year, the SCAR is part of the Ontario Adventure Racing Series. It will once again co-hosted by the Essex Region Conservation Authority and the Rotary Club of Windsor St. Clair. Windsor Adventure Inc. has generously become the Race Sponsor. To learn more, visit The SCAR.
Since 1973, the Essex Region Conservation Authority has been dedicated to protecting, restoring and managing the natural resources of the Essex Region.
