The Windsor Clippers opened the 2016 pre-season by taking two of three games at the Six Nations Annual Spring Showcase tournament.

In the opening game of the Six Nations Tourney, the Clippers beat the Halton Hills Bulldogs 5-3. Ryan Marchand scored a pair of goals and added one assist to lead the Clippers. Midget prospect Jake Rosa, Rain Whited and Chase Kavanaugh also scored for the Clippers. Logan Holmes had three assists in the game. Jacob Corra recorded the win in goal for the Clippers.

In the second game the Clippers fell to the Newmarket Saints 4-2. Prospect Blair Cosgrove and Logan Holmes scored for the Clippers in a losing effort. Colin Reaburn took the loss in goal for the Clippers.

In the final game of the tournament the Clippers defeated the St. Catherines Spartans 5-3. Logan Holmes had two goals and two assists for the Clippers. Also scoring for the Clippers were Patrick Kaschalk, Ryan Marchand and prospect Darien Delisle. Brayden Bell earned the win in goal for the Clippers.

The Clippers have trimmed the roster to 30 runners and 4 goaltenders as they prepare for the Elora tournament next weekend. The Clippers open the regular season on the road in Wallaceburg on April 24th.
