General Manager Warren Rychel has announced the club and goaltender Lucas Patton have agreed to a standard Ontario Hockey League player and education package.
Lucas Patton came to our 2016 Training Camp as an undrafted free agent and made a mark. “Lucas came in, played very well and impressed our coaching staff and goalie coaches,” Rychel said. “It’s going to take some time, but we’re going to help him improve and achieve his dreams. He’s got a bright future in our league.”
Patton, a 6’1, 181-pound native of Waterloo, Ontario, is a product of the Toronto Marlboros AAA system, and spent part of the 2015-16 season with the Newmarket Hurricanes of the OJHL.
