Windsor Spitfires Sign Adrian Manzo and Michael Lavigne to OHL Standard Player Agreements
The Windsor Spitfires have announced the signing of Adrian Manzo to an OHL scholarship and development agreement.
Manzo was selected #95 overall by the Spitfires in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection draft. Adrian hails from Woodbridge, Ontario. He stands at 6’1 and weighs 170lbs.
Manzo played for the Vaughan Kings during the 2022-23 season. He recorded 4 goals and 3 assists in 34 games played in the GTHL. Manzo also appeared in 59 games with the U16 AAA Vaughan Kings team and recorded 7 goals and 13 assists. In the OHL Cup, Adrian recorded 2 assists in 7 games.
The Woodbridge native is excited to be joining the club.
“It is an awesome feeling to sign with the Spitfires and I’m very excited to start the next step in my career.” Manzo said. “I’ve heard Windsor has a great organization, facilities and great fan base to play in front of which makes me even more excited to play here.”
Bill Bowler spoke on Manzo putting pen to paper.
“Adrian is a complete player and his all around play allows him to play in every situation.” GM Bill Bowler said. “After his exceptional play during the OHL Cup we targeted him and are happy to have him a part of our organization and it is a great moment for him and his family. We see a bright future and welcome him to our hockey club.”
The Spitfires have also announced the signing of Michael Lavigne to an OHL scholarship and development agreement.
Lavigne was selected #120 overall by the Spitfires in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection draft. Michael hails from Scarborough, Ontario. He stands at 6’5 and weighs 200lbs.
Lavigne played for the Toronto Jr Canadiens during the 2022-23 season. He recorded 1 goal and 2 assists in 32 games on the backend during the season. In the OHL Cup, Michael scored once and recorded 3 assists in 7 games.
The Scarborough native is excited to be joining the club.
“I feel very honoured to sign with such a great organization that has a great fan base and history.” Lavigne said. “I’m looking forward to making a positive impact on the team.”

“Michael is a big body that defends with a purpose, we love his compete.” GM Bill Bowler said. “We se a lot of upside in this young man.”
