St. Clair Men’s Golf Team Finishes Fifth
The St. Clair College Men’s Golf team ended the OCAA Golf Championship on a positive note placing in 5th place in Division I team play with a 3 day total of 987. The men’s teams are split in half after two rounds into Division I and Division II. It is the first time since 2012 that St. Clair have made the Division I cut and the best Saints finish since then. The men’s team is composed of 5 players with the best 4 scores counting each day.
The Championship was hosted by Sault College at Crimson Ridge Golf Course. The course played extremely tough over the three day with some difficult weather conditions. The average score for the event was 86.56.
The top individual St. Clair male was Marshal Quinn (LaSalle) who ended up tied for 15th.
On the women’s side Victoria Ducharme (Windsor) ended the tournament in 6th place just one spot out of qualifying for the CCAA Nationals.
