Green Giants Recap July 9 2017 – St. Clair GGs Win Third Straight On The Road
The St. Clair Green Giants won their third straight game Sunday night 3-2 in Muskegon Michigan over the second place Muskegon Clippers.
St. Clair earned a sweep over the Muskegon Clippers and stay in first place in their division.
The Giants look to be back on track after a lengthy losing streak.
Tyler Whitbread had another strong outing going 7 innings, allowing only 5 hits, giving up 1 run and striking out 9.
Jett Wodiuk pitched the final 2 innings to get the win.
Adam Tanoue knocked in the winning run with a bases loaded groundout.
The Green Giants will now return home tonight to Lacasse Park for the next six nights, before they break for the league all-star game.
As a reminder to all fans the Green Giants will be hosting “Bark in the Park” tonight (Monday July 10th).
